It would be a good idea, income tax is theft.

I kind of doubt he would do that, given that he admits we cannot get rid of an income tax (or equivalent) unless we change our ideas about what the role of government should be in our society. But I suppose he could, since congress would probably immediately just pass a law requiring income tax payment (if in fact such a law doesn't exist).

Wouldn't that necessitate that the ones who did pay those taxes get a refund?

Whether anyone thinks paying federal income taxes are illegal or not the fact stands that anyone in prison for tax evasion commited a crime.

We can't have a man (Ron Paul) who has said that we should not give amnesty to law breakers (Illegals).

It is too inconsistent and wrong to ignore one group of lawbreakers and go after another.

I guess that depends on whether there was actually a law broken or not

Yes then appeal the conviction and take it to the Supreme court.

Oh wait it has and it has been upheld.

No matter if anyone else thinks it is illegal. This body has the surpreme say in the matter so they are criminals. Everyone knows it is against the law and went ahead and did it so it makes them premeditated criminals.

The government may pass a law saying that its legal for them to steal from you, but that does not make the law right or just. Unjust laws need not be obeyed. Income taxation is theft, it does not matter what the Supreme Court rules on the matter. They could say that murder is legal tomorrow, but it would still be wrong. Besides anyone who pays attention knows the SC generally sides with the state.

He'll just veto all the appropiations bills, then he will pardon all present and future tax evaders, anyone convicted of a drug offense, anyone convicted of a gun crime, etc. He'll then repeal all the IRS Code of Federal Regulations and all the Code of federal regulations(He can do this as they are enforcement laws) that he finds unconstitutional. This means all the W-4 forms will no longer be used.
