You should have seen him late Sunday night, about 12:30 EST. Hardly anyone was on the House floor. He stood up and gave a simliar speech, ending it with:

"when I was a kid growing up, there used to be a story....that if you took a shovel....and dug deep enough....you'd reach China. We're there!"

Brilliant. no tube, sorry.

I still hate him. It's great he was against this pile of crap but that speech didn't exactly give me warm fuzzies. He says "why aren't we..." followed by a whole litany of socialist "solutions". His solutions are every bit as bad or worse than the bail out, so it doesn't matter a whole lot in the end.

That just goes to show that politics can make strange bedfellows.

If the choice were between McWar,and DK,i would vote for Dennis in a heartbeat.
Yup,he is socialistic, but he would also attempt to return us to real money.

I actually kind like that speech, but he clearly doesn't understand what caused this problem or doesn't want to understand it.

Denis at least meeeeeeeeeeaaaaans well....

The others are deliberately bastards, don't care.

He cares alright... but he really is clueless on economics..

He could REALLY learn alot from Ron Paul. :)

i love how he poses at the end for dramatic effect.
Like the camera on the soap opera actor just before a changing of scenes
I almost expect it to fade out to a commerical.
Where's the 90210 music?

<3 Dennis

Regardless of his views and socialist leanings...atleast the man has his principles. And yes, politics make strange bedfellows.

Hes grandstanding. How could he do anything he claims he wants to do if we returned to a gold standard? How can you be socialistic and still believe in free markets?

I like Kucinich, and against the two twats running Id vote for him. Thats the only time though. I read his 16 point plan and disagreed with 13 points of it. He is WAY to big government for me. More intrusion in our lives makes sense to him.

At least he tries to buck the system.

He should have been a Republican.. after taking a few classes on Constitution and free market theory.
