The Second American Revolution won its first major battle against the globalist bankers in 2008 by voting against a bill that would have turned America into a de facto socialist nation. Dr. Ron Paul, a congressman from Texas, who ran for President earlier in the year, is often refered to as "The General" and "The Refounding Father" of the Second American Revolution. In his usual humility, Dr. Paul never accepted credit for the Second Revolution. Instead, he credited the strength of his supporters in the face of fear, market collaspe, and media ridicule.

What's crazy about this is that Apple is selling products like crazy. They sold 7.5 million
3G iPhones so far with estimates of selling 40+ million in over 60+ countries by next
year. They are one of the few computer companies that is still making yearly gains in
the market. The only reason that the stock is tanking is because of these damn collapsing
banks.

The downgrade today (http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080929/movers_roundup_apple.html?.v=1) was what I meant:

"Shares of Apple Inc. plunged to a 52-week low Monday after analysts downgraded the stock because
they believe slowing consumer spending will hit its computer business."

It's not the banks so much as people are tapped out and inflation is killing them. 3G phones are a luxury for most people.

At their prices all apple products are luxuries for probably 99.9% of the world.

People need to get a grip on what's important and not important and quit spending on credit "like it's going out of style".

I've had the same color screen Internet capable cell for 5 years and it works fine.

What got us to where we are is a small percentage of the world's people buying things they don't really need
instead of investing in things that would raise the standard of living for all.

Babies are dying in the world at this very minute for lack of a few cents of food
and modern culture worships celebrities who spend $10,000+ a night on a hotel room.

It makes me sick.

My congress-slut (Ron Lewis - R) voted in favor of the bailout. He's not up for reelection this november, so he couldn't care less what his constituents think. I called Ron Lewis' office several times this past week urging against the vote, and I asked the dude on the other end of the line what the other constituents were saying. He said they had gotten ZERO phone calls in support of it.

Lewis is a soul-selling shill. His follow-up, Brett Guthrie, who is also a Republican and hopes to replace Lewis, will NOT get my vote.

Guthrie's pro-war anyway.

Don't get overwhelmed with this victory; they will try to push this through again. We have to keep the heat on if we are to be successful.

Then lets continue to write, fax, call, and thank those who opposed and let them know that they have our support.

This is truly a miracle! And I'm an agnostic. We can finally celebrate this day!!

Agnostic voting for a theocrat?

Remember FISA? It failed the first time when it was public. The people protested by sending in letters, faxes, and emails.

But then they snuck it through as a minor item on another bill a few weeks or a month later when no one was looking.

We need to do 2 things:

Contact those who voted Yea and express to them that we meant what we said about doing everything in our power to vote to them out

Contact those who voted Nay. thank them for faithfully representing the will and interest of the people and remind them that the people are watching them carefully, if this get mutated into something else and comes up again we expect them to remain steadfast against any bailout by whatever name it may be called in the future.

Lets keep the pressure on them! Call and let them know we're not fooled by Pelosi's blame game and thanks for voting against the bailout. Let them know we don't want immoral and unsound corporations saved from the consequences of their actions, and that the free market will fix this crisis better than any regulatory socialist takeover.

Amen!

By the way - for those of you who have been hating on the C4L and the RealPolitics training school we underwent -- the strategies and the tactics we used to kill this bill were STRAIGHT out of that training. Don't believe me? ask anybody else who also attended the training. ;) :D

those strategies were ripped straight from the grassroots. to pretend otherwise is sheer non-sense, borderline plagiarism. (a serious problem in this movement)

now, where's my thirty-five bucks?
