They're all trying to distance themselves from this thing. Waxman just called this a Republican bill but said he's voting for it. Many Republicans are speaking out against it. We'll see who actually has the courage to vote against it.

The democrats don't need the repubs to pass this thing - they have the numbers - but they're scared. They just want the repubs on the hook like them.

Vote coming soon!

I can't stand the techniques that are used by people for the bill. The- " act now to save america or do nothing" argument. Most people against the bill actually have better intentions than doing "nothing". They know that it's not wise to bailout unless the root cause for the problem is solved. They know that the majority of americans smell bullshit and are not willing to just dish out more money. These congressmen against the bill in my view are the brave ones who are standing their ground and are wanting to find the right answer. Not just rush to pass the bill. So it bothers me everytime when the ones voting for the bill act like this is the only way....and that people wanting to try something else somehow translates to doing nothing.

"the people are scared. nobody wants to vote for this. I don't want to be around it.... it's bi-partisan..... THINK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS IF WE DON"T PASS THIS BILL.

How can credit be drying up when the FED is extending credit to everyone?

Every vote the last eight years involved saving america. Every new spending bill led to this problem. Every time they voted not to address this issue and issues involving Fannie Mae was a "vote to save America or do nothing."
