A rumored 700 Billion dollar bailout for a few wallstreet firms with connection to Paulson and other Goldman Sachs type insiders is not going to do anything about the stock markets being down in other countries, or the bank failures in Europe.

The stock market is going down for those reasons, so we shouldn't expect a bump on a vote here.

No. It might cause a stall, but its going down because of how the rest of the world looks. Stock exchanges are down, bank collapse in Europe. This is a global problem. 700 billion won't do anything at all. Should just let things fail quicker, and let new companies form.

Yes, I know, but can't possibly work. 700 billion is a drop in the bucket. And the stock market is reacting to news of overseas, not the bailout package - which no one is going to understand as affecting that.

I just got back from withdrawing my money from Wachovia... that was before I read it was bought out by Citigroup and the FDIC.

Thank God for this campaign, and for Ron Paul's education... I've learned so much over the past year and a half, and have been paying much more attention to the markets.

I was waiting in the banker's office for my money, and I heard another agent talking on the phone with someone, saying that "she hasn't heard any news about the financial markets..." Obviously, people are starting to call in now.

Let me just say again, THANK GOD I pulled my money out from there. Who knows where this will all end up once everything crashes down.

Put your money in gold now. Silver is gone, but gold is going to skyrocket. And buy it from a local dealer and hide it.
