I'm surprised more people aren't commenting on this video or the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act of 1977) that forced banks into offering 1 Trillion dollars of subprime loans under the guise of "affordable housing" and "equal opportunity lending". Then Fannie Mae stepped in to tell banks to keep lending because they'll back it.

I'm not a fan of the Bush administration or McCain for that matter, but it was the Democrats who blocked bills to fix this. It was Obama who faught for offering housing for people who couldn't afford the payments.

Why am I not hearing anything about this anywhere? Am I just not looking in the right place? :-)
