She is a member of the trilateral commission. She is a wheel in the New World Order. Over 100,000 constituants called for her to vote NO on the "comprehensive immigration bill" and she voted for it anyway. She is against America.

Yes indeed... and the collusion of Feinstein, Pelosi with San Francisco Property & Docks and money, in lined the pockets of their husbands, friends and business associates. This, on top of Pelosi using Illegal and non union workers that their vineyards in Napa Valley. They are both ELITIST/WEALTH whores who will SELLOUT their voters to MONEY and Power in a second. look up PELOSI and HADASSAH. Lookup Pelosi and Ron Paul's comment on ISRAEL/AIPAC wanted...

They represent the PEOPLE and do what the PEOPLE want, not what they think or someone else PAYS them to say and vote upon.

KEEP UP the PRESSURE!

Have all your FRIENDS and FAMILY contact these SHILLS and let the VOICES of the PEOPLE be heard ONCE AGAIN!

Feinstein is a horrible beast. She has NO CARE for the voters, none. She votes what her handlers tell her. Simple. Her, Pelosi and Boxer = the unholy trinity.

Seriously. She is a complete prop for string pullers.

Hey, don't diss Frank too much here though. At least he does stand up for things that were right. I mean, he is wrong on alot of things. But we must capitalize on similarities.

Him and Paul work together alot. They may not see eye to eye, but they co-sponsored bills to legalize marijuana and legalize internet gambling.

I must be one of the few that sent her a NO to the bail-out message. Damn, thats hard to believe... All I hear on NPR is that about 1 out of every 100 responses are FOR the bail-out.

*edit - sorry I meant FOR the bail-out. But yes NPR isn't that great. I never heard one financial expert on that ever challenged the fed's existence.

NPR is big govt. radio. They fought against licensing for mom and pop radio stations and won. they didn't want any competition so now towns are stuck with their marxist, tax funded drivel.

Here is the response e-mail I just got back from Sen. Feinstein...

Thank you for your letter expressing concern about Congress'
consideration of a plan to meet our Nation's credit crisis with
financial help from the Federal Government. This is a difficult
situation for which there are no perfect solutions, and I would like to
share my thoughts and concerns about this issue with you.

On September 19, 2008, Secretary of the Treasury Henry M.
Paulson, Jr. announced a legislative proposal to use $700 billion to
purchase illiquid mortgage-related assets from ailing financial
institutions. Secretary Paulson's three-page proposal was a non-starter,
and without critical changes it has no chance of approval from Congress.
This proposal would have given a blank check to an economic czar who
would have been empowered to spend it without administrative oversight,
legal requirements, or legislative review. Decisions made by the
Treasury Secretary would be non-reviewable by any court, agency, or
Congress. The proposal also lacked a requirement for regular reports to
Congress on the status of the program. This was simply untenable.

Since this announcement, my offices have received thousands
of comments from Californians like you concerned about how this action
will affect them. Yet, I believe prudent action must be taken. The bill
should include the following principles: a phase-in of funding;
oversight, accountability and transparency; a mechanism allowing the
Secretary of the Treasury to modify mortgages to prevent additional
foreclosures; and a precise cap on executive compensation.

The current credit crisis affects all Americans. If action is
not taken to stem the crisis, Americans risk losing their homes, jobs,
personal savings, life insurance and more. Banks will cease to lend to
businesses and homeowners, and credit will be increasingly difficult to
come by for average Americans. I strongly believe that the consequences
of failing to act now would be greater than not acting at all.

She's as corrupt as they come. She is very infuriating. It's a great disappointment that she hasn't been recalled yet. It's her final term for 6 yrs in office and she thinks she can do anything she wants. Thank god to term limits.

I've sent her so many letters this year through all the online petition drives from Moveon, impeachbush.org, etc.

Her responses are similiar to those presented above. She voted FOR FISA, the war and war funding numerous times, she's blocked impeachment hearings, etc, etc, etc.

I believe her husband has a $100 million dollar war contract.

She's a $30-$100+ millionare i believe.

Agreed.

If you want to get some idea of what a vile scumbag Feinstein is you have got to check out this article. She thought she could slip this under the radar a couple of years ago but some Berkeley human rights activists busted her fat ass and made it public. She played dumb and back tracked and it never became a full-blown scandal. She must have pulled out all the stops for damage control.

These guys don't represent the people because their district is made up of 180,000+ people. The 50,000 calls she received are just a drop in the bucket of her constituency. The House of Representatives is the people's house and it has ceased to be since they capped the limit to 435. The Founding Fathers wanted districts to be between 30,000 and 50,000. They expected thousands of people in the House. They felt the smaller the district the better reflection of the constituency they represent.

You are absolutely right.. no taxation without accurate representation should be the new slogan.

You have got to see this speech she made on the floor concerning her stance on the bailout bill http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZFwRAfkV1g

Feinstien is a piece of trash and a true whore to the federal government. She admits she received 91,000 calls and e-mails with 85,000 of them OPPOSED to the bail out bill yet she still suggests to vote YES. She clearly makes it a point that her constituents don't understand the bill and that she is beholden to the country (federal monster) than to who she is supposed to represent. In this clip she practically calls her constituents including myself, stupid! F!@#en bitch!

This is kind of off topic as Senator Feinstein shares power with Boxer in the whole state. I agree with others here regarding her. On the Immigration Bill sometime ago, she was all over that one. She wouldn't listen to constituents then either.

Regarding your post, however, in regards to number of representatives, you are correct. I've been thinking about this over the last several months as to how our representatives seemed to have lost touch with those they represent. This issue has crossed my mind. Thousands in the house might be too cumbersome, but I totally understand your point, and the reasons it was written this way in the constitution. Correcting this issue along with campaign finance reform, could go a long way to getting better representation. This should be brought up on a separate thread for discussion on how best to fix this.
