Since RP has still a substantial college campus following still,
I wonder how campuses around the country are responding to tonight's scheduled debate.
The University of Iowa Daily Iowan student newspaper -
as it gets ready for the conference opener and homecoming game -
in a lengthy editorial today titling it as a "Pathetic McCain ploy" , asks :
"then why John McCain, do you bail out of a debate with Sen. Obama (D-IL) two days beforehand
in order to politicize our financial crisis and stage a ploy to get Congress to pass a bailout plan?"
Wonder what the buzz around other campuses is . . .
