If you wanted to truly "take a stand," you'd, too, be anarchists, you wouldn't be trying to play politics with your slave masters. haha. That sounds funny

Yeah, we are in a prison, so hm, instead of a revolt, we will work with the prison guards by playing by their rules of democracy? hmm. alrighty

Who said that was the strategy?

Jo, are you being a jackass just to be a jackass..... again?

hmm. what's the plan? We CAN live without government. It's very possible, but the morals of people have been screwy for thousands of years. Religion is mostly why. Not just christianity heh all of that early nonsensicable mysticism bullshit :P Christianity is just the result of what came before it.

check out that site.

It's good to be philosophically consistent.

Tell me about this "slave uprising" thing. I presume it's pro-statist because I saw that many Baldwin supporters are members. I knew right then that it most-likely isn't an anarchist movement.

Joe, it's a pro-statist, anti-anarchy thing. You wouldn't be interested. Everyone must pledge themselves to Jesus and sign a pact to not masturbate, watch porn or make up words like "nonsensicable."

There is no plan.

We CAN live without government.

Really?

Couldn't agree more, but you know that already (hence my confusion over your sudden need to badmouth the project.)

It's good to be philosophically consistent.

It's also bad (if you believe in good/bad) to force a perceived philosophical consistency upon others who may or may not feel the same way.

Tell me about this "slave uprising" thing.

REPOST:

It is an attempt to unify (not organize) individuals who are fed up w/ the government's bullshit (whatever bullshit it is THEY are fed up w/) in a non-descript way, allowing folks to give each other that little nod of understanding every time they spot that familiar white band under their co-workers suit coat, on their professor's arm or dangling from the rear-view of a passing car.

It is a way of knowing that you are not alone. it is a way of showing others the same.

Beyond that, it is what YOU make it.

...and that is exactly what slaveuprising is.

If you'd like to know a little more about the site and its ultimate purpose / the direction it is going, please check out the forums at slaveuprising.com/forum. Sign up and ask away. if it's a project you can get behind, consider joining one of the two facebook groups, telling your meetup and letting your friends know about it.

I presume it's pro-statist

Jo, it was started by myself and Josh.... c'mon man.

If you want to be a part of the project join, but skip sulking from the sidelines, that's gay (no offense to gay people).

I knew right then that it most-likely isn't an anarchist movement.

It's not an anything movement, it's an everything movement.

If you want it to take more of an anarchist bent, get active and help guide it in that direction.

That said, I'm not sure how you define anarchy, what w/ your screenname "TheLibertarian"

I have yet to meet a non-statist libertarian....

Lookin' forward to workin' w/ ya Jo.

Have you registered for the forum yet?

Do it if you want....

Or better yet, start a site that is entirely anarchist in slant, i'll happily help you get it moving along.

ah ok. thanks for elaborating. Amy only attacks me. yeah, an ANARCHO-CAPITALIST organization should exist. Why doesn't any? There are plenty socialist federation bullshit. why not ancap?

what are you doing for tis project? your role? just wondering.

my username was from last year. things change, and so do I. hmm. I still am fond of libertarian beliefs, but that's the thing, I am no longer optimistic about it.

Msdoodahs is an anarchist, but she is very optimistic and active with everything here.

TW is also an anarchist, but he fought everyone here for wanting to vote for Ron Paul

I'd say that I'm in between of of them... I'm not optimistic, but I'm still interested

Josh and I came up w/ it and got the thing poppin' in about 6 hrs. flat. since then i've been active in encouraging others to expand the project and market it as they see fit, this includes helping w/ artwork for the project's second domain patriotuprising.com as well (even though i'm not a patriot), trying to get the word out that this isn't specifically a tax-revolt (as a few others have been actively trying to get the word out that it is) and that there are no leaders in the project, simply individuals (as there are a few individuals working hard to get the word out that it's just the opposite... which is quite tiring as i'd rather be focused on building the project than fighting professional establishment co-opters.... alas, there are always those who'd rather wear the boot than lick it.)

Hey, einstein did say that it's the only constant.

hmm. I still am fond of libertarian beliefs,

Libertarians can't really define libertarian beliefs, that's the funny thing about it.

Some might say she isn't..... her optimism has perked up significantly over the last few days though.

I'm quite fond of her myself.

Yea, TW is hardcore.

Me too, though much closer to TW.

I'm thinking about picketing the local polling place on election night.

You should be willing and enthused about dying for your fellow comrades! Dying for the collective, how noble a cause! Why - you'd get your own tombstone and be mourned by so many... What more could you ask for?!

Replace ~95+% of the laws of the world with:

"Do as you please, but harm no other in their person or property."
