I'm sure Barr was invited but I think we can guess how that'll turn out.

This Charles Jay guy sounds pretty cool.

Would be interesting to listen to, just because things tend to get heated between socialists and free market people, buuuuuuuut, I can't say I understand the point of this. As in what they are trying to accomplish.

I really do not trust Revolutionbroadcasting. I imagine they will not invite Barr and try to create some controversy about him not appearing.

Breakthematrix.com came out and wanted to put together the same thing. I personally like BTM because their site is much better and they have taken a much more neutral stance.

They want to debate whether the CPD nazis say they can or not.

Maybe to allow 3rd parties to have some kind of voice?

If they can get a debate set up great. But you guys are knocking one great thing in hopes someone else may do this as well? Looks like revolution broadcasting has stepped up to the plate now let's see if BTM can do the same.

I hope we get many 3rd party debates but if you all haven't noticed we have about 30 days until the election.

A call in debate should be ok. They can do that anywhere in the country but that could be kind of tough to manage with no visual queues.

The internet debate at least allows visual feedbacks for the candidates to see of the other candidates.

Definitely do both if they can.

Its my understanding that Nader's people are already on board for the BTM event, and they are pulling in the greens, and chuck needs to sort out the time and place for this with them. Barr seems to be the hold out on all of these events so people need to contact him and let him know not to be such a spoiled sport and to participate.

Not one network has scheduled a debate not one so revolurion broadcasting seems to have stepped up to the plate and I think they should be applauded. Only talks I see on BTM that he wants 10,000 people to pledge to donate that day, why? Donate for what? The money goes into Trevor lymans account and why? Wouldn't it be better to just let people donate to the candidate they wish? That plan is like the Government saying hey send us your money and then we will tell you how to spend it. WTF! Also what is Trevors cut of this money?

No. I invited him, and talked with Shane Cory about it. The problem is that they want to be "big tent" both the Barr and the Nader campaigns think of themselves as "too good" for the grassroots.

Yeah, for a nobody. I don't vote for people that don't have any brains. Aside from that fact, he's not on the NJ ballot, so what do I care about his fat ass?

What would be involved with getting C-Span to cover a third party debate?
