I did just get off the phone to McCain's Phoenix office and said me and my wife were adamantly against a bailout. I told the very nice lady we would rather go through a depression for one year vs. dumping this on our kids for 10 years.

I told her I knew McCain was trying to make this happen.

She said we are trying to get everyone's thoughts on this. Yeah sure. Will he listen?

I've called all of our congressmen and Senators for the past three days, multiple times. I just got off our local radio sharing a piece of my mind - And how Ron Paul cured my apathy!

Light up those phones, folks! Tell them you will be watching the role call vote and you will remember how they vote!

The CFL has some material to print and distribute. I left some in the racks at the grocery store, some in the local ice cream shop tucked in the free parents magazine, and some on the community bulletin board at the neighborhood restaurant.

agree with Sarge. i know R rep Reichert is aware of the views of myself and many of my friends in his district, but D rep McDermott (Seattle) is apparently getting the message loud and clear.

if you're rep is a democrat, light-up their lines. if your rep is republican (neocon or otherwise), light up his/her line as well. then contact your Senators....

tell them no bailout in ANY form whatsoever. let them know that the seat they occupy will go elsewhere if they betray us.
