Okay. Something hit me. We are running into a repeat scenario. I would like to find the historical letters that would reference the previous occurance:
Overbearing government ignores the will and voice of its people and taxes and spends regardless. Those people get pissed off and do something about it. Tyranical government overthrown.
Obviously, the first case was the Revolutionary War. The body of legislatures in Britain ignored the overwhelming will of the people of the Americas. Our congress is clearly doing it again today. So, does anyone have reference online to the letters and warnings initially sent to the government pieces in England registering the complaints and warnings? I would like to reference such letters in my emails to my representatives, but, my Fu is weak today.
