On this gloomy day; here's a story that may cheer you up.

Well, my phone just rang about ten minutes ago. I didn't recognize the number, but I'm not one to ignore calls, in case there is some sort of an emergency. How delighted I was to hear "Hello, I'm with the Barack Obama campaign." I knew this was going to be good.

The volunteer was a female who was very respectful, so I wasn't going to harass her. However, she asked me if I had made up my mind for my vote in November.

"Well, no. I was hoping to be able to vote for Congressman Ron Paul in the election, but the two-party bigotry has made that impossible." I said.

"I see. Well, are there any questions you have about the Obama campaign that I could help clarify?" She asked.

"Why, yes." I said. "Would Barack Obama remove the governmental bureaucrats from healthcare, abolish the Federal Reserve, enact sound money, begin withdrawls from Iraq on day one of his term, pull us out of NAFTA, the UN, and WTO, end corporate welfare, restore our Constitutional liberty, end domestic spying on citizens, fight illegal immigration, secure our borders, restore state rights, fight the North American Union, restore habeas corpus, abolish the income tax and cut the bloated military presence that is fueling contempt for Americans and making my family less safe every day?"

"Um... well. I..."

"I didn't think so. Have a nice day."

Now that is change you can believe in.

Just has a way with words or was that a script, either way what a great response to toss back at someone.

We should do a cliff notes for the revolution, or revolution for dummies and have a ton of come backs, constitutional come backs and tons more stuff in it. It could be funny but actually be very useful for anyone who gets the "they attack us for our freedom" or "everyone needs healthcare" comments that we all hear way too many times.

Imagine being able to get a ton of responses to use for any one of these comments and many that lead into questions that reflect back onto the person to see what their candidate believes on another important topic. Most would crack after the first question because most party voters only know a little about one issue and the rest is not really sure of. I generalize too much BUT there is only a small portion of avid voters who have a ton of responses to any question you have.

Great phone conversation response indeed.

Speaking of Obama... Here's some good information I read in the newspaper today from a principled libertarian journalist:

"Barak Obama, besides being the second largest recipient of Fannie Mae's government backed largesse, also had Franklin Raines as a financial adviser and Jim Johnson as head of his vice president search committee. Raines was the disgraced past head of Fannie Mae who was paid $90 million in six years to effectively run it into the ground. He resigned and headed right into politics, the only place where a failed businessman can thrive. Johnson also is a former chairman of Fannie Mae who was alleged to have received a favorable mortgage from Countrywide Financial Corp.
In short, under President Clinton and not curtailed under the "asleep at the switch" Republicans, Fannie Mae was encouraged to make loans (ones that you and I back with our tax dollars) to more lower income Americans. Lending money to those with the worst prospects of paying you back is not a good business model. As a result, and because of greed by rogue mortgage companies that all but encouraged applicants to lie, these actions fueled an unsustainable boom in the real estate market. Wall Street fueled the growth by packaging these mortgages into pools. " Ron Hart

Thats the long and short of it. Tones (This is where Obama's partnership with Rezko comes in, the corrupt slum lord and his many housing projects) Barak Obama is a blatant crook...and the News media FAILS to put this out to the public.

The best part is that the response works just as well with McCain supporters!

That reminds me of when an Obama supporter called me to come to a rally here in RI and if I'm voting for Obama. I told him I don't vote for socialists since I work for a living. He sighed and hung up. Some female sounding college kid from Brown or Rhode Island College I suspect. The only thing worse than a liberal, to me, is a girly one. Be a man!

I would be like...

"Why does he claim to be a constitutional scholar when he clearly doesn't respect the constitution?"

"Why do people claim he is anti-war when he wants another surge in Afghanistan and only combat troops out of Iraq?"

"Why does he want to steal my money and give it to nations across the world?"

etc.

I hope you won't mind if I copy and memorize that response for all future campaign calls. I might actually answer my phone for the duration of the campaign season. That was priceless!

I'm memorizing that response so if either Obama or McCain call me/write me I can blast it back in their face!!! hahaha awesome! :)

Franklin Raines as a financial adviser

that's a line from McWar's campaign. Raines has been toxic for too long and Obama's handlers, you must think, know this. don't make yourself look dumb here.
