I don't think I can watch. I had the congressional hearings on all afternoon. If I watch Dubya my head will probably explode.

I'll be watching his general demeanor and non-verbals. I get more information from this behavioral data than I would if I hung on his every word.

Yep, almost time for the Great Decider to school us all on economics and how creating trillions of money we don't have is a good thing for the economy. Ohh cant wait!

Probably one of the main US news networks will have an online stream from their website. That would be your best bet I think.

Hmm, if its hard to borrow money right now, then why does my Chase card still have a $15,000 limit that I could max out tomorrow if I wanted?

If you support Baldwin, I know you can support Bush. It's a smooth transition, from a religious nutcase, to a corrupt religious nutcase.

go fuck yourself you disingenuous ass. Equating Baldwin to Bush - please pull your head out.

I guess Ron Paul could support Bush? I never never seen a more dishonest and outright stupid post on these forums.

I'd take a good religious zealot over any corrupt individual, any day. This is the appeal of Ron Paul and Baldwin, more that any other thing, it's the fact that they are good an honest men.

I haven't paid much attention to Baldwin but he doesn't come across as a zealot, like Huckabee. My perception is that he honestly has faith.

I don't believe for a minute that Bush gives a rat's ass about any God. That's just another of his tools.

In his speech, Bush said “Democratic capitalism is the best system ever devised”. Yet for some reason he thinks that we need to become less capitalistic in order to save that system. How does that make any sense?

A good test is those who present government as "helping" (Huckabee/Bush), and those who present government as hindering -Baldwin/Paul.

In regards to helping your fellow man. Don't seem to need faith if you depend on someone else (government) to do the helping.

He doesn't have to make any sense, the dumbed down public will believe anything.

Then Chris Dodd comes on and says that the problem was that the regulators were sleeping and didn’t do their jobs.

His solution? More regulators. Maybe this time we can pump the new regulators up with some Red Bull to keep them awake.

That's kind of what I've been thinking to myself. Despite all their grand-ponzi schemes using the markets to get rich while robbing everyone else and creating a one-world empire, their arrogance will ultimately be the destruction of those same schemes. The market is more powerful than them.

Well, Bernanke seemed to stumble a bit when answering RP's questions at the hearing today. And BTW, I loved RP's off-camera "COINS!!" exclaimation during Bernanke's answer on the Fed's authority. ;)
