Anyone hear about this? Republican Congressman dies "suddenly overnight"?

"He was a member of the House Committee on Financial Services, and the ranking Republican on the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit."

What were his views?

Judging by his wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Gillmor#Banking_interests) it would seem like he had an interest in protecting the banking industry.

In May 2007, the House of Representatives passed, by a vote of 371-16, a bill by Gillmor and Representative Barney Frank that blocked retailers such as Wal-Mart and Home Depot from establishing their own industrial loan companies.[12] Industrial loan companies are state-chartered corporations that are potential competitors of community banks.

Good or bad?

Well, he "saved" banks from companies like Walmart being able to make industrial loans.. It's good for status quo i guess..

Geez, I hope there were no drugs or underage lady-boys involved:

Perverts

Is giving me a hard time when I am campaigning person-to-person; when I introduce Dr. Paul the Republican and get a prompt, "Republican, hell no!". The Democrats seem to be well teed-up for victory in 2008.

I love how Dr. Paul ranks 100% on the freedom index!
