View Full Version : Unconstitutional Bailout = Zero Government Legitmacy

If this government bailout goes through the US government will have zero legitimacy in my opinion. This is because...

The constitution will have been shredded completely because the government has no right to bailout private institutions.

The power to control the US economy will be put into one man which violates the constitution.

The rich fat-cats of Wall Street will have colluded to bailout their rich friend's banks and financial institutions.

What do you think?

I may or may not be sayin' anything in particular. Just sayin'...

Government has never and will never have any legitimacy.

Small government has legitimacy as long as people's rights and freedoms are respected.

Small government has legitimacy as long as people's rights and freedoms are respected. Based on what personal experience?

Small government has legitimacy as long as people's rights and freedoms are respected.

Nope, not unless there is 100% consent among people who own 100% of the property government rules over.

I consider it literally the theft of the country, a wholesale conscription to slavery of not only every current citizen, future ones as well. Far as I'm concerned, it's treason by every person that has taken an oath to protect the constitution, and they should be prosecuted and jailed/hung/tarred/feathered/whatever to the full extent of the law.

So you are for pure anarchy? "An anarchist is anyone that wants less government than you do." ;)

So you are for pure anarchy?

Yes. However, I have no problem if people want to set up their own consensual governments as long as they do not coerce me or anyone else who has not agreed to be ruled by them.

Yes, I think that is the best option. However, I have no problem if people want to set up their own consensual governments as long as they do not coerce me or anyone else not agreeing to be ruled by them. I REALLY like that too. ;)

Additionally, politicians have been ignoring the Constitution since its inception. This is nothing new.
