Seriously, I have no idea, beyond the fact that we will be wearing stylish white armbands. Is there some plan for action? Are we raising awareness? Or are we rising up and slaughtering our masters in the dead of night, Haitian style?

What's the plan?

Think of the book V for Vendetta....

Why did V send out masks to the people?

Standing up together to tell them we resist.

It's an education campaign as well. The more white bands out there, the more questions that are asked, the larger the campaign gets.

V is a freedom fighter against totalitarianism.

EDIT: He is also a superhero which helps.

Should we all wear V masks instead of bracelets? :D

Seriously though, I can't wait to wear my V mask on Halloween

I meant who is "our" V?

That and I got confused with this thread-http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=157689

I thought the Slave Revolution was a Michael Moore thing, but that thread seems to just be missnamed.

You can't define something just by defining the words in the name. What could you tell about the United States of America by simply issuing definitions of each term? We live in an Orwellian world, so defining the words that make up a name doesn't give you any information.

Honestly, stop acting like a jackass. Post something informative or GTFO.

To EVERYONE ELSE, thanks for the explanation. I have to admit I was hoping for a bit more, but this will do for now.

It is an attempt to unify (not organize) individuals who are fed up w/ the government's bullshit (whatever bullshit it is THEY are fed up w/) in a non-descript way, allowing folks to give each other that little nod of understanding every time they spot that familiar white band under their co-workers suit coat, on their professor's arm or dangling from the rear-view of a passing car.

It is a way of knowing that you are not alone. it is a way of showing others the same.

Beyond that, it is what YOU make it.

...and that is exactly what slaveuprising is.

If you'd like to know a little more about the site and its ultimate purpose / the direction it is going, please check out the forums at slaveuprising.com/forum. Sign up and ask away. if it's a project you can get behind, consider joining one of the two facebook groups, telling your meetup and letting your friends know about it.

Kiss my ass! :p Which of the two words caused your confusion?
