Is there any way we can convince Ron to jump back in the race for POTUS?
I believe Barr would happily step down and be Ron's VP. Everyone in the LP would be fine with it. Root has already said he'd step aside to make room for Ron.
Imagine the ads. All they'd have to do it use excerpts from the debates, interviews and hearings (then and now) about the economic crisis Ron kept talking about, the one that has finally arrived.

His country needs him. We need him. Far more than we need his lone pro-Constitutional vote in the House, and far more than we need him on committees talking to the brick walls.
What can we do? I just feel so helpless and am in deep despair.
Ron will most likely refuse anyway. The gubmint will go ahead with this abomination of an Act no matter what any of us plebs say. And the Republicrats will win come Nov. and continue down the road to ruin.
