A friendly wager.
The person closest to the actual amount of time (without going over) gets a free pass. The rest of us have to donate a minimum of $10 to the campaign. Anyone up for it?
I'll put my time in now at 5 minutes and 30 seconds.

Ok, I put 3-4 minutes. But after considering T Thompson is not there, Ill say 4:27 give or take 3 sec.

5min ....with out T.T and hopefully they will try at appease the masses outside, we may see one or two more questions than usual. But I doubt anything significant.

My prediction; bolstered by a slew of straw poll wins, Ron Paul will viciously bitch slap the first person who tries to interrupt him. Out of blind, panicked terror, all other candidates and pundits will be frisked away to a super-secet FOX News bunker, leaving Ron Paul the floor for the entirety of the debate.

I'm going with five minutes- his quesitons will be meaningless banter (say something good about the person next to you) and how the surge is working.

Oh, does anyone know if I can watch/listen to the debate online?

I said 4-5 minutes and 2-3 of those minutes will be about the Iraq war where he is most divided with his party. This debate is only an hour and a half like the ABC one and we've only lost Tommy Thompson since then so I would expect more of the Rudy McRomney show. We all know that Dr. Paul can say a lot in less time, but I'm hoping just once that he gets to talk about his strong pro life and 2nd amendment stances. Those are two issues that he can grab the base with since the frontrunners can't, along with being tough on illegal immigration, lower spending and lower taxes. If he gets to cover at least a couple of those topics, it will be another successful debate for Dr. Paul.

What are the statistics as to how much time he had on each of the previous debates?

I dont know if Ill be able to watch the debate if Hannity is going to be one of the moderators. That guy just makes my blood pressure go up and I always feel a little bit of vomit rise in my throat when I see him. If it has to be a neo-con talk show host, Id rather have it be Rush Limbaugh.

Hannity is NOT the moderator

I'm guessing Brit Hume is and he is pretty fair.

Thats good. I thought I heard something about Hannity being one of them. WHEW!!!

The last Fox debate, they had 3 of them so I was just curious.

Wouldn't it be FUN to watch RP make Hannity's blood boil? :D

Is that the other guy who asked Ron if he was running for the wrong party?

My guess would be that he gets only 3 minutes and 52 seconds

No thats not Brit Hume. I know who you are talking about though. He looks like a little smarmy worm type guy and I cant remember his name. Oh wait, I just remembered................ Chris Wallace is the guy youre thinking of.

So how much time did he get?

A lot more than I expected, mostly due to Huckabee calling him out. I'd guess about five and a half minutes?

Anyone time it? I think he got way more than 7 min, more like 9 or 10. It seemed as if the entire debate was FOX and Friends vs Ron Paul

Really? He didn't get to speak at all in the first half hour. Is that number right?

Add it up:
Do you include the question, do you include the applause, or do you just include Ron's talking?

I think this is the most airtime Ron has gotten during any of the network debates so far. Correct me if I'm wrong. Ron got bonus time when Huckabee confronted Ron and opened it up for an exchange between Ron and Huckabee. I think in the long run that helped Ron, but I think in this case it also helped Huckabee a tiny bit. I think it helped Ron more than Huckabee in the long run. But Huckabee will never win this.... What do you think?

I would think just his time answering.
Anyway, I guess it's time for everyone to pay up. :-)

Even if you just count his talking time I think there may have only been one or two people who guessed anywhere NEAR ten minutes.
