Paulson is estimating that bailouts will run up to 700 billion!!!

Now, I dont advocate socialism at all, but WTF..if we're going to do socialist bailouts, lets bailout struggling families instead of Wall Street..

Do the math...a mere 50 billion could cover the average mortgage bill for FIVE MILLION families facing forecosure for an entire year!!!!

A whole year's breather for 5 million families to get their shit together or sell the home, while keeping property values stable and reducing the losses to the lenders. Trickle up socilaist economics instead of trickle down Wall Street bailouts.!

How fucked is it that we'll allow so many families to be booted out of their home by the very Wall Street gangsters who will recieve the bailout money instead of them!!!

It appears welfare in America is only for large corporations and illegal aliens. The law abiding middle class citizen has to support these people or off to jail they go. This is slavery!

How about NO to socialism? I don't care if it's going to the irresponsible families facing foreclosure or the dicks on Wall Street.

I know many home buyers did not see this coming. If anything, they were encouraged by the lenders.

Eh? Haven't you heard? The government saved us! If the banks didn't get bailed out, the whole thing would crash and we would be in a depression right now.

I dont think it would realistic or humane to just transition from socialism to pure free enterprise over night. Too many people are dependent and such a cold turkey transition would cause unecessary pain.

But I do believe we can transition out of socialism gradually and completely in as little as 3-5 years without causing any disruption to the lives of people who were screwed and rendered dependent by the current system. The key is to KILL the Fed...which is the engine of all the lending fraud and socilaism.
