North Carolina: Barr 2%, Nader 2%, McKinney 1%
September 19th, 2008 · 3 Comments

An Opinion Research poll of 910 registered North Carolina voters conducted September 14-16 shows Libertarian Bob Barr and independent Ralph Nader each at two percent in the presidential race, with Green Cynthia McKinney at one percent. However, as the Raleigh News and Observer reports, “of those, only Barr will be on the North Carolina ballot.” John McCain led Barack Obama 48% to 47% in the poll.

I remember when Barr was polling higher in the states...up to 8 9 and 10 %. Palin ended that. She unified the GOP. TOnes

With the caveat that one can't compare different polls (apples and oranges) and that this is one state and not the one where Barr has been polling higher, yeah, you're right, Palin has sucked all of the oxygen out of the political room.
