Why is this not a bigger deal? McCain has been preaching about how he will combat evil Russia's 'recent invasion of Georgia' every chance he gets. Turns out our own state department is admitting that Georgia started the entire thing. Watch this clip of Ron Paul debating the Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried in the house. At 2:37 Fried says, "Secondly, Georgia did not attack Russia there is no question about that. Russia attacked Georgia."

Why are American's so stupid?

A couple of days after the incident, I saw on an AOL poll that 15% of the respondents supported Russia. This was momentous, IMO, that 15% of usually clueless AOL readers were on to the scam. I cannot believe that McCain keeps going along with it, almost seems like an experiment in propaganda.

Here and there are indications that Americans are waking up. Boy, will TPTB be sorry if/when they do! Tar and feathers, anyone?
