It is very patriotic actually

Our country is ran on taxes so to keep this "homeland" prosperous then sure it is patriotic, as patriotic as joining our current military to serve your "country".

If you define patriotism as loyalty to the state, maybe. I define patriotism as being loyal to your fellow countryman.

And to be loyal to your fellow countrymen in THIS country currently means giving them a safety net versus allowing them to stand up on their own two feet.

I don't agree with it, our country is backwards as hell right now BUT what they define as patriotism NOW is not what it meant back in the day.

All this money taken from Louisiana taxpayers and Louisiana oil, and we can't even get good levees. I imagine that we could do better on our own.

Biden - who had student deferrments between 1963 - 1968 during the Vietnam War -
will debate Sarah "Corruption Up The Wasilla" Palin
at Washington University in St. Louis on October 2.

I said oppressive taxes, not taxes. We all know the wah wah wah debate about neccessary taxes. That wasn't the question. Don't fog the issue with liberal bullshit.

Obama told Bill O'Reilly that paying higher taxes was "the neighborly" thing to do. No joke.

Oh well, I believe the election is becoming less important every day. This country is going to have much bigger problems to worry about than who is President.

Personally, I'd vote none of the above. Printing money out of thin air is no better or worse than appropriating stolen money and redistributing it with strings attached. Both are equally bad in my opinion
