Why is it that we have politicians so willing to bail out large institutions to basically nationalize mortgages and insurance without a WHISPER of outrage by the public?
I mean, come on, we are supposed to be fiscal conservative, small government Republicans right? Where's the outrage?
We're against nationalized health care, why not be against nationalized mortgage backers and insurance holders? How is it that we can plan to inject $200B into Freddie/Fannie, and $85B into AIG and not a SINGLE politician beat the drum of outrage? That's $285B of taxpayer money people... That's like only $15B short of what Hillarycare was gonna be (I think).
How on earth do you get people to wake up to what the US Gov't is doing to us right now... it's sickening.
