LOL I've been watching tucker, he's undermining rp. Look back at every tucker piece on rp, he always makes sure to stress libertarian when he talks. On the other hand at least he talks about RP so im fine with it.

No, Tucker is a player. He acts nice but his "nice" is only part of a method to make his remarks appear more "valid".

Yeah, I love Ron Paul, but he's not a republican, he's only campaigning to spread a message not to actually win...yada yada...

I am sure his orders come from upper management in the corporation.

Tucker said "Ron Paul is not a Republican. He's a Libertarian who's just using the system." He also said he agrees with Press that Ron Paul is the best candidate on the Republican side.

By the way, Tucker also said that he wishes Pat Buchanan were running again, an idea I wholeheartedly endorse.

Ok, did some people in this thread just say insinuate that Tucker beaming all over Ron Paul and admitting that he voted for the LP candidate in 88' is a cover up?

Wow. Didn't Tucker say he was voting for Ron?

I believe he did say that he voted for him in '88 and will vote for him again.

In the Ron Paul White House that's been forming in my mind, I see Tucker as White House Press Secretary. :D

Guys -- Tucker is a "quipper" and occasionally quips and makes retarded statements that we see as hurting Ron Paul.

He's human---says stupid stuff sometimes, but he's a Ron Paul guy.

Tucker may feel truly supportive of Ron Paul, but don't expect an outright endorsement anytime soon. Tucker doesn't want to risk his MSM credentials by going out on such a limb.

People who have sold out or bought into the system, still have personal opinions and even know what's right and wrong, but selling out means you have to put those things aside or know when to restrain yourself.

The status quo requires that you toe the line. There's allowance for variance but you can't deviate too far outside the lines.

Such is the nature of things and the way of the word.

Wonks support the status quo, geeks seek to change it.

Well, after hearing BIll Press say he wanted to beat Rush Limbaugh's hind quarters on national television, I never would have expected this from him. Good for Bill Press, good for Tucker for having Bill Press on, and good for Ron Paul most of all!

I've been watching Tucker ever since he started on MSNBC and there is no doubt in my mind he is 100% behind Mr. Paul. :)

To some extent you're correct, but can you name a mainstream "news" show that has been friendlier or given more face time to Ron Paul than Tucker's has?

Is it really proper for someone in his position to give a 'proper' endorsement? I think it's very obvious that Tucker endorses Ron Paul.

Tucker is a RP guy. On the stripper episode he flatly said that his show was unapologetically pro Ron Paul.

Everytime that Ron Paul is mentioned on the show Tucker quickly reminds the audience he voted for him in 1988... They mind as well get a push button automator to say it, save his voice.

this is what I wrote to Bill Press:

Thank you very much for your comments in regard to Ron Paul today on Tucker. Having been born in Houston in the early 1970's, Ron Paul was one of the first politicians that I knew of, and it was a sad day when I realized that he was the exception and not the norm for those that represent us. Considering also that my mom was a government teacher for over 25 years, and also supports Ron Paul, speaks volumes. Thank you again for your comments and hope to hear more of them, especially in light of what appears to be a "blackout" of most things Paul :/

His response:

I love Ron Paul, and he's for real. BP

In today's climate probably not. But, in most professional circles people can have personal opinions and still remain objective and fair. It's the conceit that keeping these views hidden is the way to ensure fairness.

BTW, I found a great column on Bill Press' website. You could go digg it if you want, if for no other reason than to show that RP supporters actually read and digg other stuff beside RP stories.
