I've never seen it before. Figured I'd check out the inspiration behind the big moneybomb. :)

My wife just bought it for us about a week ago. Then we never have to go without our dose of uncivil disobedience.

Yeah, I still need to order mine.

The movie was on Wednesday night and I watched it, thanks for telling me I'm watching it again.

Its so good! It's addictive.

I actually went to a party this summer at some girls house, and there was like 15 of us. And I went to her DVD rack and threw V4V in. Haha, I was amazed the party turned into a intellectual current events conversation. It was great.

Ron Paul should totally put on a V mask and put out a CFL video. That would be awesome. :D

Anyone feel like making a chip-in to ship him one?

Is anyone holding a viewing party on the 5th this year?

Is there a political organization organiz...

Hey... the CFL could send a message to, I don't know, more than 100,000 people to host a viewing party of V for Vendetta... We could reach a lot of people. :)

Personally I loved the rebelious nature of the movie, but the overall story structure was terrible. It really dragged in places.

BTW That grinning mask reminds me of the King's mask from Burger King.

Well, if they dont send a mass-email there is no reason why we all shouldn't do it.

We probably all have the DVD ( I have two DVD's and it torrented on my computer) so if we all just invite some friends/coworkers/family members/etc over we could really have a succes. And then that would increase the money in the Nov. 5 Money-Bomb because people who have originally had no idea about the Ron Paul Campaign/Campaign for Liberty will start to donate.

I think if we all donate and have a viewing party we really would have an amazing awakening in one day.

Well, I remember an email from Trevor about something big November 5th.

And there was a long post on here about it.

I don't think anything is final right now but stuff is in the works.

Well, we had about two weeks warning for last year's. Let's hope it gets started before October.

I'm in. Day after Election Day. Genius.

Yeah, it's a beautiful idea. No better way to say "Fuck You" to the Establishment then raising 6+ million dollars the day after the election.

Hey, I have a question. Do any of you think that DC Comics tried to make V and the Joker in The Dark Knight similar? You know, things like attitude, for example.

Not really.

Because The Joker was anti-Batman. And V was anti-Establishment.

"What they did to me was monstrous, and they created a monstrous."

Their examples of creating chaos are similar but I think they have very different motives for it.

I just got myself a V mask for Halloween.

Oh man! Thanks for reminding me! I've gotta do that myself.

This'll be the second "Freedom Halloween" in a row for me. Last year, I was Ron Paul. I copied and laminated a Ron Paul mask, sat at a little desk with "Hail to the Chief" playing on a boombox, and gave slimjims out with the treats!

Sadly, almost nobody in my neighborhood recognized me or even asked who Ron Paul was. But it was a moral victory! :D

Yes it is. And the movie is made by Warner Bros. Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? It's like rage against the machine, by the machine.

i can't imagine a cable version could do it justice... i know FX shows some controversial stuff, so it might not be edited on there, but still i would get the directors edition uncut
