Absolutely. I heard that Kennedy used to keep Johnson out of everything. I have no doubt that Palin will have zero influence on any policy matters if McCain gets elected.

I know that mccain is too damn stubborn to let her try and dictate anything anyways. I just wonder how it will go when she TRIES to put her foot down on an issue though... He will odds are tell her to fuck off and talk about how he was a pow.

McCain is half dead though...rarely is a vice president pick as important as his. He'll be in his 80s if he gets two terms. You can go at anytime at that age.

No guarantees. Even if he dies a year into his term, Palin will be fully integrated into the party machinery and bought off by then. She's made incredible progress in that direction the last few weeks. Her urgent meetings with Israeli lobbyists and war talk with Russia proves this.
