What are the opinions of people here regarding the Wall Street Journal?

It used to be an interesting read. But now it belongs to Rupert Murdoch and, though I haven't been able to find a copy of the "new" WSJ, I'm sure he's watered down and diluted it to the point where you'll read very few solid economic truths in there.

If the new WSJ is to financial reporting what the New York Post is for news reporting, you're probably much better off subscribing to MAD Magazine. :(

It's not as soft or absorbent as toilet paper, but I wouldn't let that stop me from putting it to good use.
