I'm a 19 year old college student at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. However, I went to school at the Freedom Area School District in Beaver County, PA. Since joining the Freedom Movement I have been thinking alot about the name of my old school I went to before college. It's ironic because at Freedom I didn't learn the simplest thing about Liberty or the Constitution or the Republic! I strongly believe the public education system is broken, another branch of government that spews Statist and Collectivist ideologies into the minds of the youth. You should see how hard it is to try and explain the issues from a Constitutional/Liberty standpoint to my friends. It's so hard, they just don't get it, they HAVE COMPLETELY BOUGHT INTO THE STATIST/COLLECTIVIST shit the government school system has brainwashed them with. It doesn't help either that most of the teachers in my school were super liberal a.k.a. Socialist. Ron Paul has completely opened my mind to so many things and books and ideas. However, instead of moping until the Republic goes up in flames for good, I have come up with a novel idea. By the way, it's amazing I'm in the Freedom Movement after what the government school system taught me. Wow, what a difference private schooling could make.

I personally have started a fund with my money that I plan on using for my "Free the District" project. I have made a list of books/movies that I am going to purchase in bulk and send to my former high school, Freedom Area High School. I plan on buying ten of each book and a couple copies of each movie. Also I'm buying Revolutionary War era flags, patriotic newspaper subscriptions, and patriotic magazine subscriptions. I'm going to send all these things to my former high school once I have bought all of them. I plan on calling them and writing a letter to send too, I will ask them to create a "Liberty Section" in the library specifically for the things I send. I doubt they will turn down all those books and movies and subscriptions. They have a marching band and I'm going to ask them to use the flags in the marching band. My goal is to wake up the student population in the school and expose them to a Revolutionary spirit. I will attach the list I have planned so far, but I'm nowhere closed to finished. I plan on getting books from the Ludwig von Mises Institute too. I hope my efforts will eventually "free the ditrict" where I live and make it a stronghold for Liberty. I have been saving money for this for some time now, but I'm not there yet. None of this would be possible without me learning from the grassroots movement in the Ron Paul Revolution!
