Ron Paul’s Name Likely to Remain on Montana Ballot
September 12th, 2008
The Montana Secretary of State is not inclined to remove Ron Paul’s name from the ballot as the Constitution Party nominee, since all but five counties have finalized their ballots and sent the information to the printer. The state elections office says if Ron Paul wanted his name off the ballot, he should have notified the Secretary of State by September 5.

Maybe their SOS is ran by a Dem?
I'm sure a McCainiac would have went around and personally shred all the ballots with Ron's name on them.

Isn't there a 1-2% spread between McCain and Obama in MT?

I want to see how much he would get in MT.

I put together a caucus map just to see how strong Dr. Paul showed by country. He beat McCain in 27 counties, and tied him in 1, and that's out of 56 counties total. Consider that this was back in February 08... This might give the GOP something to fear, though they might not admit it. And who knows how many people have changed their minds since then. It will be interesting to see how this goes. If you are interested, the map can be found here. http://montanacampaignforliberty.wordpress.com/county-by-county-map/
