anyone know whether Paul and Buchanan have any type of rapport?

Buchanan is coming up with some heavy questions for the "debate":

amazing that Buchanan believes that Bush can do whatever, whenever....it shouldn't be that way...

I think they respect each other, yes. Pat has been pretty darn vocal in his support of Ron Paul. Pat is somewhat of an isolationist, but he agrees with Ron on most things. He's one of our allies.

Go check out his blog. It's pretty much all about Ron Paul. :)

My understanding has been that Congress handed over that power to Bush after 9-11. They had the opportunity to take it back, but didn't do so. ie.. the power to declare war. I remember there being several articles about the language being in a bill and Pelosi ripping it out.

Buchanan was one of the first big names who came out and essentially endorsed Paul.

I skimmed the article, it seems to be the usual critique of Bush and his policies.

Paul donated $500 to Buchanan's campaign in 1996.
