If you have a contact email for anyone at the LP, send this...

Ron Paul said he would not run as a 3rd party. OK fine. Barr is dividing us all. Known fact.

Let all these people who want to vote for Ron Paul (way more than Barr supporters), who know their write in vote for Ron Paul would just be thrown in the trash, get to VOTE for Ron Paul in every state the LP is in. Face it, Barr isn't going win. You want to move the LP up in media stature? DRAFT RON PAUL. What do you have to loose? Another 1% pull again? Maybe with Barr a 4%? How about getting 15%? or more...

So he does not want to run as a 3rd party. Fine. He does NOTHING for the position. No debates, no appearance, no affiliation. Do you need "official" acceptance from him according to your bylaws? Change them. You can do it quickly. If you put Ron Paul on the ballot in however many states you qualified for, WE all get to vote for the man we love, and WE get to send a message to the damn GOP, AND the LP gets a spike of publicity for drafting someone who does not want to run as a 3rd party and for getting record setting percentages for the LP in November, etc.

We will break all LP records with voting %'s EVER. And the GOP will see how bad they lost, when the see the 6-15%, or more, in the LP column that they could have had (www.lettertogop.com). And if Palin keeps pushing war with Russia, we might just shock the world! Think about it. We have 1,000's that would help, head over heals, in a heartbeat!

For him to be qualified, he would need to leave the Republican Party.

Was that the deal for the VP spot offered by Barr too?

Is that GOP rules or LP? If LP, they can change them.

No he wouldn't. Where do you come up with this? He is a member of the LP as it stands now, and of the GOP.

Supposedly, he never gave up his Republican registration when he ran as a Libertarian in 1988.
