I second this, getting one million plus votes for these candidates would be monumental as far as the future goes. Future automatic state ballot access anyone.

These people are a real burden on the LP. Not only do they refuse to vote with their brains, they instead choose to try and destroy the LP, by spamming their anti-Barr lies all over the internet. Not even McCain or Obama gets this kind of VIP treatment. Is there a way to FINALLY sever ties with these whackos??

I still wonder about the significant portion of RPFers who support Obama now. Did they ditch Ron Paul and decide to hang around to spooge their "O" faces all over the forum? (joke)

I'm sorry, but Barr has yet to prove himself trustworthy, and Baldwin, while a good guy, is unknown, and is heading a horrible party. Nader and McKinney are infinitely more attractive.

But I've always sympathized with economically-left civil libertarians. You guys do what you wish. In the end, it makes no difference.

Wait. I witness Barr's behavior first hand Sept. 1st, in person. Lies? Hardly, his actions were despicable. Even if Nader was elected, he is not a king. Do you really think the Congress and the House would allow all the things you are worried about with Nader as president? Gridlock is good.

And it would be a wake up call for most Americans to the real issues.

Still undecided here.

Nader is pretty much aligned with the democratic platform. nice shilling for Nader there.

Ron Paul is not god. So, Nader appeared in one interview with Ron Paul. He's desprate, that's why. Doesn't mean that commies better than Bob Barr.

Was unsure about Barr, after today I'm sure he'll NEVER in my life get my vote. Constitution party is a non starter to me, can't vote for anybody that would put up with their platform. So, only real choices left are Nader and McKinney, I'm simply picking the sanest of the two. Please note, this is not to suggest that either are sane by any means.
Admittedly I am going on the theory that it won't matter, none are going to win, as is RP the way I see it.

Paul already says he doesn't endorse Nader and vice versa. I'd be surprised if campaign for liberty members voted for Nader. I know he wont support McKinney he is stuck between Baldwin and Barr.

Paul will not endorse Barr or Baldwin on the same grounds he wont support McCain, he will make millions angry at him. He has kept his integrity for ever and hes not going to put his guns down now. To endorse Barr would alienate Baldwin supporters and vice versa.
This implies that Ron Paul thinks either candidate Baldwin or Barr would be a good candidate. We could say Paul wouldn't endorse both because it would offend Republicans, but I think he already did endorse all 3rd party candidates in a sense. Instead of just having Barr and Baldwin meeting with him he knew it would be bigger, better, and more destructive to the status quo if he had them all take the stage together because of one common enemy, the Neo Con Globalist Republicrats.

It's like war if we have a common enemy we join forces until we win. And no, this does not mean we should combine the parties into one... it would make every established 3rd party angry. If we join any parties together it should be Republicans and Democrats.

Is there a way to leave cfl? I can't be apart of an organization of communist sympathizers. Maybe I'll go the Truth Warrior route and not vote.

Didn't say that. Shilling? Hardly. Does character or principles mean any thing to you?

RP is not god? Really? You mean people actually have a brain and can disagree with him on some issues but see his integrity in a refreshing light for a politician? Heresy!!

Yeah, if both legislative and executive were of Nader's persuasion, no way could I vote for Nader. But that ain't the case now is it. He would not be able to implement most of his platform. Your scare tactics don't work with me.

Still undecided as I wrote above.

Honest Commie vs. dishonest Libertarian...hmmm.

So, what if Nader brings our troops home, ends corporate subsidies, proscecutes a bunch of fraudulent corporations currently feeding the special interests thus freeing up their monopoly/cabal markets and ends up saving you ten times as much money as your universal health insurance costs, effectively lowering your taxes significantly and still manages to lower the cost of your healthcare overall?

Try to think more objectively and take the whole picture in for a change.

Vote for whichever third party candidate you want. I was considering voting for Bob Barr, but after today I'm not so sure. I would love to vote for a libertarian candidate, but he's really not my favorite libertarian. I would still rather somebody else vote for Barr than the two major candidates.

Third Party or Die.

Who said he's raising taxes?? He's bringing our troops home, investigating the Fed and ending corporate subsidies!! He also wants to balance the budget so we aren't paying bankers interest on our federal spending. Do you know how much money that will save in the long run?? Can you please provide proof that he will raise taxes??

This thread is completely filled with short-sighted people.
