Lets look at how this country is getting screwed everyday by the people who make our money.

THIS IS A $5 UNITED STATES NOTE. IT IS ISSUED BY OUR TREASURY AT A COST OF 4 CENTS, AND INTRODUCED INTO THE ECONOMY.

THIS IS A $1 FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE. IT IS ISSUED BY A PRIVATE COMPANY (FEDERAL RESERVE) at A COST OF 4 CENTS BUT THEN SOLD TO OUR GOVT FOR FACE AMOUNT (IN THIS CASE $1 DOLLAR) AND THEN INTRODUCED INTO THE ECONOMY.

What does your income tax pay for? The green seal money from the federal reserve.
If the country issued its own money, we could get rid of the income tax without really affecting anything.

READ THE TEXT CAREFULLY ON THIS UNITED STATES NOTE. IT IS NOT LEGAL TENDER FOR PAYMENT ON INTEREST TO THE PUBLIC DEBT. THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE 'GREEN SEAL' MONEY DO NOT WANT IT PAID OFF WITH GOVT-PRODUCED 'RED SEAL' MONEY. United States Notes if any were issued today are still NOT legal tender to pay interest on the public debt.

Yes, that was always the difference between FRNs and US Notes. One says "Legal Tender for Debt" and the other says "Payable to the bearer." One is a symbol of debt and the other is a measure of wealth.

I'd just like to interject here that if any reader of this thread continues to hold strong philosophical objections to bearing or using Federal Reserve notes, my offer to take them off your hands is still good.

If you exchange them for hard currency, you've got a deal.

Maybe its because I am in from work and tired but I'm having a hard time understanding what point you're trying to make
