I've created a thread on the Help wanted Forum.

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=154720

We need a flyer for C4L Precinct Captains to distribute to the 60% of Americans who want someone other than McCain or Obama. Let's support Ron's new strategy for the November Presidential Race.

Thanks,
Steve

From Lew Rockwell Blog:
http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/022808.html

Let's not forget that Nader and McKinney are right on far more issues than McCain and Obama, even if all four are very wrong on economics. Ron Paul knows what he is doing. Attacking the Republicrats is vitally important. But on war, civil liberties, the Constitution, etc. Nader and McKinney are allies. See Ron's magnificent unity platform. Same with Baldwin. All of them, like Ron, have long records of opposing the warfare state, corporate welfare, and the police state - that is, the most important issues today. The enemy is the conservative Republicans, as I said in Minneapolis, not anti-war, pro-civil liberties leftists who want to break up the duopoly. Again, Ron Paul knows exactly what he is doing.

Ummm.... He did not show up, but I'm pretty sure he sent the message out that he agrees...

Pretty sure. lol

Then what would be the purpose of not showing up?

Must I dig up a link? I do remember someone in the Barr campaign stating that he agreed with the four points. I'm failing to see any contradiction here, so what if he did not show up?

Edit: urrgh perhaps I'm only remembering the bolded line here:

We think holding our own press conference was the right decicion for our candidate and our supporters.

There’s no animosity towards Ron from the Barr campaign. Why would Bob ask him to be his VP if there was?

We are not about promoting 3rd party politics, but about getting as many votes for our candidate and our message as we can. A vote for Baldwin, Nader or McKinney is not a vote for Bob, so while we agree with the principles espoused today, we chose to focus on our candidate. It’s great to see 3rd parties coming together and we appreciate it. We know ballot access laws are terrible. We know it’s tough to get into the debates, but it’s not something that required a press conference.

We’re focused on the Barr Campaign and libertarian issues and that’s why we decided to have our own campaign.

It repeats itself because there are 3 images hosted above. Two slightly different versions of the flyer, and then a third that is pretty basic but could be printed out 3 to a page and cut.

I was under the impression Barr agreed but did not attend the press conference, however I can remove him and redo the flyer if needed.

I like it - might I give you my 2 cents worth?

1) under the photos where it lists the website addys, how about putting each of the candidates website links under their photo and putting the campaign for liberty addy on a seperate line?

2) I think the headline of the flyer should be " why vote for more of the same?" with a picture of Obama and McCain (with a diagonal slash going thru them) OR one of those morphed pictures of Obama and McCain merged together ...
