It's out. According to this rulebook, you are no longer allowed to be a member of the national committee if you don't support the Presidential or Vice-Presidential nominees of the party.

It was adopted last week at the convention. It's a brand new set of rules. The only other salient change is that New Hampshire and South Carolina no longer get punished for holding primaries before the first Tuesday in February.

The Republicans can't get out of their own way. Which ever party loses this election is going to have to do some soul searching and re-inventing.

By the time I get nominated to be a member of the National Committee I would assume I would support the nominees.

Earth to Paulites, Pauligirls and Paulimen:

The election is over. So, where do we go from here? We do what Ron Paul wants us to do. Above all, we need to be active and activist. The GOP has launched a rebuildtheparty.com website where a lot of folks, including Ron Paul supporters, are venting on the GOP. It's a great place to hang out, help educate the folks and become a voice to take back the party from the socialist thieving neocons.

After what can only be considered a crushing 11/4 defeat, the GOP has been humbled. You can't lose 9 states since 04 - states that were once red but turned blue (OH,FL,VA,NM,NV,IN,IA,NC,CO) and be anything but humiliated.

Let's continue the Ron Paul Revolution by participating at www.rebuildtheparty.com ! Please, let's all get involved and put our input in to rebuilding the GOP. Let's kick out the rats and start over!

It's where Ron Paul would expect us to be.

To Liberty and Revolution!!

There is no saving this party. They are much to corrupt. This idea, of changing the party from within, is just a smoke screen to placate the masses. It gives the masses a false sense of "change". The sheep actually think that they are making a difference. C'mon people wake up, the fix is in.

A strong Constitutionally Conservative Party does not fit into the NWO plan. You're wasting your time.

Meet the new boss...just the same as the old boss...

Neocons love the Obama picks:

"[T]he new administration is off to a good start."
-- Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell.

"[S]uperb ... the best of the Washington insiders ... this will be a valedictocracy -- rule by those who graduate first in their high school classes."
-- David Brooks, conservative New York Times columnist

"[V]irtually perfect ... "
-- Senator Joe Lieberman, former Democrat and John McCain's top surrogate in the 2008 campaign.

"[R]eassuring."
-- Karl Rove

"I am gobsmacked by these appointments, most of which could just as easily have come from a President McCain ... this all but puts an end to the 16-month timetable for withdrawal from Iraq, the unconditional summits with dictators, and other foolishness that once emanated from the Obama campaign ... [Hillary] Clinton and [James] Steinberg at State should be powerful voices for 'neo-liberalism' which is not so different in many respects from 'neo-conservativism.'"
-- Max Boot, neoconservative activist, former McCain staffer.

"I see them as being sort of center-right of the Democratic party."
-- James Baker, former Secretary of State

"[S]urprising continuity on foreign policy between President Bush's second term and the incoming administration ... certainly nothing that represents a drastic change in how Washington does business. The expectation is that Obama is set to continue the course set by Bush ... "
-- Michael Goldfarb of the neoconservative Weekly Standard.

"I certainly applaud many of the appointments ... "
-- Senator John McCain

"So far, so good."
-- Senator Lamar Alexander, senior Republican Congressional leader.

Hillary Clinton will be "outstanding" as Secretary of State
-- Henry Kissinger

Rahm Emanuel is "a wise choice" in the role of Chief of Staff
-- Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, John McCain's best friend.

Obama's team shows "Our foreign policy is non-partisan."
-- Ed Rollins, top Republican strategist and Mike Huckabee's 2008 campaign manager

"The country will be in good hands."
-- Condoleezza Rice, George W. Bush's Secretary of State

These are the people who sell us out, these are the people who tell you must support the nominee.

We are working within the GOP for what reason again?

Y'all can have your fun, I'm tired of pulling knives out of my back.

Well, guys, they are going to pick a leader for the GOP. We have the chance to give our input ...or we can shut our mouths and let them pick another rino, neocon jerk. And we're back to square one.

I agree that it'd be better to start anew, with a new name and a new mascot. I've grown rather cynical of the "GOP" and the stupid elephant. I suggest "Reform Party" with the bald eagle as our mascot. The Dems can keep their jackass. It fits. But we have to be realistic.

re: The angry GOP base is waiting for reform and new leadership (Will it happen?)

Although the GOP has massive leadership problems at the state and national level, the RNC will be meeting in January to elect new leaders and it's positively critical that the old neocon/socialist NWO wing be banished and replaced with real constitutional conservatives. Please contact your state RNC representatives and demand that they vote for a real conservative and that you will not vote for the "same old, same old" establishment rino Republicans. So far, names like Gov. Sanford and Sen. Jim DeMint are circulating; both are deserving of an RNC leadership position. Also, I would like to see the RNC find a leadership position for Ron Paul because Ron Paul can do something no other Republican can do - recruit the young. Ron Paul's young, energetic brigade popped up out of nowhere and raised incredible sums of money. They included the college crowd and young tech savvy entrepreneurs/professionals who engineered the Money Bomb.

To be sure, nobody is going to contribute to the GOP/RNC machine so long as it's the party of Bush/Cheney/Rove/McCain. I don't think the GOP understands, even after 11/4, how low its brand has sunk. A skunk is held in higher esteem than the GOP and certainly smells a whole lot better. We are sick of holding our noses while voting.

Nah......

Especially the way they cut our throats in the primary and debates! But this is exactly why we need to get on Rebuild the Party. We need to make sure they don't put in the same ol' rinos and neocons. They actually suggested Newt Gingrich! Are you kidding me?? We need to keep the Revolution going! Let's all be educating the young and old.

And how about Obama's "change"? He's filling his cabinet with all the same trash that Bush had in his. Looks like the only change is the family living in the White House. Bush moves out and Obama moves in. And as it turns out, there won't be much change, after all!
