Well obviously that would have worked so much better than in '88. Why, there's just nobody on these forums who first got wind of the message through those G.O.P. debates at all!

I remember reading in an interview in Republic magazine (with Benton) that Paul had signed pledges in six or seven states that in order for him to be on the GOP primary ballot, he could not run in the general as an independent or third party candidate. Not sure if they was legally binding but it is still not a surprise that he wouldn't break his word.

Since the #1 reason I have loved Ron Paul (not in that way) is his integrity this would have lost my vote.
