Great idea.

Find a disaffected member of the opposite major party from you (Rep/Dem), and pact together to each pick your own third party candidate and vote for that one instead.

I don't know why Barr wasn't there.

If it was a decision not to appear (I don't know that), I would disagree with it. It would not be the first time, I expect it would not be the last. There are many others that are dead on right. I live in the real world.

We're all humans, we all make mistakes. (Reserving judgment on the lizartarians amongst us.) Making rash judgments on important issues based on one thing (and in a knowledge vacuum at that) would be a bigger mistake by forum members, IMHO.

Funny, folks are saying that this isn't a major announcement, and folks are also saying Bob's not showing up is reason enough not to vote for him. interesting irony there.
