I voted for the Reform Party of Canada my first time - they were the far right, evangelicals. My next vote was for the NDP - Canada's socialist party. Next time I voted for the Green Party. This time I'll likely be spoiling my ballot.

True, an 18 year old kid changing his ideology is not the same as a seasoned politician, but it can happen. If we automatically reject anyone that previously held any differing views from our own, how successful do you think we will be?

Ive just looked into it and dont think its much of a problem.. you know back in 1988 I was all for the war on drugs.. its how I was educated... Since then Ive learn to educate myself rather than believe everything I was already taught.

Barr could have changed his tune by learning himself as well.

Nah, sorry. Too much big government from them. If the Libertarians run a candidate in my riding I'll vote for them. Maybe even a vote for the Greens - even though I am against everything they believe. I just want to see the oligopoly on power suffer a huge blow this election in Canada (and the US). I suppose by voting for anyone other than ndp, conservative or liberal I can acheive that.

But bringing a big red marker and making a scene at my polling station is appealing as well. ;-)

I suppose it will all depend on my mood that day.
