watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VklR40hpsp4 and start listening at minute mark 5 and 58 seconds. He says that "I probably will do better in 2009".

Did anyone else catch that?

UPDATE: It was a joke from when he appeared on the COLBERT show.

Darn, I hope it isn't a joke.... well we'll see and speculating now shouldn't change our movement for freedom. Lets not get too caught up in this speculation :)

yeah yeah, your right. It a joke he's having with the media...

But one more thing to note: I don't think he meant he will do better in 2009, but the Revolution will!

it is a joke from his appearance on Colbert, he couldn't remember Colbert's name during the FOX interview today so that is probably why some people didn't realiz it came from a comedy show...

A federal election in 2009 would not be in accordance with the Constitution. So, I just don't see Ron Paul being serious here.
