The Weekly Standard's Matt Labash was sent by neocon Bill Kristol to make fun of the Ron Paul extravaganza in Minneapolis. Lew Rockwell comments:

You had an elevator ride with Bill Kristol? That would be one uncomfortable experience for me.

As far as the article goes, they don't even present an argument on why we are "Paultards," just that we are morons who follow a moronic philosophy, without even explaining why it is moronic. They have obviously run out of arguments, so they have went into name calling. This reminds of one time in debate, another debater from my school had run out of arguments, so he went up and said "F@#$ you!" Needless to say, the other person had no response. The only difference is that he was banned from speech and debate, but this guy isn't banned from journalism.

Thats because Matt Labash is trying to keep his job. I read it also and noticed the same thing. Something you should know -- Matt is a libertarian. Did you notice how slick he was at not attacking the principals? Thats because he believes in them. As a Main stream writer, he has to keep up an image (especially to his boss) thats par with the magazine. Of all the empty verbage used - not once did he really attack the philosophy. He only made insulting generalizations and innuendos about the "Paultards" - All the while agreeing with the platform.

Yes its weak, and he has sold his principals for money...

But -- So did I. Yesterday I had my finger prints taken and went through a government required TSA/FBI background check -- for my job. (still waiting for the results)

Where is my line in the sand? I don't know. But I do have some guilt that I will have to deal with.

Yeah. At the Veteran's Rally in Des Moines just before the caucus. Me, and my 3-year-old daughter and grandson shared a ride on a slow elevator. We were each equipped with a Ron Paul sign and button. The kids stared in silence quite well, really. I think he was more uncomfortable than us. :D It was pretty spooky, though.

I would love an elevator ride with Kristol, but if I was drinking whiskey I would probably be arrested. :D

Did you speak that piece of human excrement?

Wow. It's really interesting how cowardly so many "journalists" are. I think there is something about the simple truths of the Ron Paul platform that makes these people even more psychotic. To reside in the protective comfort zone of of the status quo elite, the only alternative is to mock, chide, and, and ridicule without substance or foundation. It's interesting that these writers cannot see this sad character flaw that is so transparent. It is telling that people will use attempts at humor and ridicule while they remain complicit in giving away their freedoms and Constitution that were hard fought for.

He is the son of the founder of the neo-conservative movement. One only has to watch him on television or read his articles to understand why we hate him.

If you don't know who he is, check this out:

Usually, my daughter and grandson are incapable of standing still and/or keeping quiet. I believe they must have sensed danger. It was one of those moments when the sound of silence really did fill the air. When the elevator got to his floor, I told the kids to say hello to Mr. Kristol. He forced a smile, and they remained silently staring.

It was funny, really. Then I rode the elevator straight back downstairs to smoke a cigarette!!

That was hilarious.

Imagine without the 9/11 target, he would have to think of something to attack.

Here is the link of the Weekly Standard Story

"Among the Paultards" Even they are ashamed of their candidate's supporters. (http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/015/538nxumh.asp?pg=1)

Matt Labash and the weekly standard is performing a hit job so obviously that I feel I am living in Atlas Shrugged. All this guy does is try to use the straw men argument against the supporters to destroy the ideas of the movement. I don't care if there are "truthers" in the movement because, you know what, they are 1 million times better than you neonazi, big government, neverending war mongers, piece of garbage that comes from the republican party. I am glad matt that you were successful in performing your hit job for de Furer(Bill Kristol), who knows, maybe you will be promoted to head of the Schutzstaffel (SS).

What Truckin Mike is talking about is the infamous TWIC (Transportation Worker ID Card). Required for every trucker, pilot, sailor, flight crew and all the rest in the country.

Look at your receipt (yes we have to pay for the chains that enslave us). You will find that your $135 goes directly to Lockheed Martin, not to TSA or the Treasury or in my case the Coast Guard.

Then look at the history of the man who pushed this miserable POS through Congress: James Loy - ex USCG Commandant and ex Deputy Director of Homeland Security.

And after retiring in 2006, look who now sits on the board of directors at Lockheed Martin. Yup, you guessed it, James Loy.

He also sits on the board of directors of a creepy biometric ID company called L-1 Identity solutions.

And L-1 is in negotiations with VeriChip to use their implanted RFID microchips for ID purposes. This is also being quietly discussed as the next phase of the TWIC.

So Truckin Mike, gonna take the chip to keep your job?

How 'bout the rest of you "reformers" and fence sitters?

Would that be enough?

Based on what you wrote Mike, I had to assume you were getting fingerprinted for the TWIC.

And yes, if that is what it was, that payment goes DIRECTLY to Lockheed Martin. Check your receipt, it'll be on there.

Can everyone say Military Industrial Complex?

Billy Kristol sent Matt Labash and Matt instigated Ventur'a 9/11 comments which then Labash used to get Tucker to leave the R4R. (http://www.dailynewscaster.com/2008/09/07/weekly-standards-matt-labash-punkd-tucker-carlson/)
