I can't wait to do this again. I had a great time! There is some really special energy behind our movement. When we are all together like that it feels so pure and powerful, I didn't feel like a stranger at all and I am usually a shy person.
Here are some pictures of Ronstock which was only for the most hardcore of liberty supporters! :p

We will make you a chip in! If we can spend a million dollars on a blimp we can get you to ronstock 2 without you having to eat rice everyday!

That missing wallet costs me $45 in "lost parking ticket" fees. Kenny knows :(
Lesson learned!
Give Barkley some scratches for me. and ((((HUGS)))) to you and Paul!

I completely forgot about the ticket charge- we should have taken care of it before the rally.
Can you still send them the ticket and ask for a refund by mail (I suspect they have their address on the ticket)?
If not, at least you got your revenge by smashing the wall of the garage :)

Oh my god! I had a blast. I wish I could have been there for the Monday night party. Don Rasmussen told a friend of mine (gunjin22) that their limo with Aimee and BJ and gang got lost and they went back. At least Marc and Adam made it out! I am down for doing it again next year.

Sorry for the humongous pictures...........LOL
no worries on the pictures..... as for the excuses from don, we heard a different story from don himself, so i believe they are lies.......
unless don pays for his spot ,he will not be getting an address, i do not believe the excuses that are coming from the cfl....... sounds like bs to me.....
I have come to a firm belief that i will work locally for our political movements, but i do not need the cfl......to direct me.
No more excuses, action speaks louder then words... I was working locally before the ron paul revolution and i can work locally after it....
The Marc Scibilia Band are the ones that saved the day, they worked their ass off for the revolution and were basically pushed aside by the cfl...
I loved meeting all of you at ronstock and the rally and i am proud of you all.
I really want nothing to do with the cfl anymore......

just did, when i see these 3 movements combine , i will reconsider my opinion....
my money will be better spent locally and to be honest i was not impressed with the presentation at the rally and i am not alone with this thought process...
just my opinion but i am part of the grassroots. I have to demand they unify. i let bob barr know this and chuck baldwin supporters and rprepublicans, but everyone seems to be about their movements instead of ours....
after much thought . I will focus on local movements and parties no longer matter to me. It's about what people are saying in their parties.....not the party themselves
the cfl is useful for people who are not involved in politics, but i am very involved so when i see a candidate i can support locally dem or rep or indy then i will...

WOW! I feel the same way Kenny. The Leadership Summit was a joke. It was a total top-down authoritarian deal. They didn't want to hear from the states at all. Texas has their own ideas and we had a meeting about it after the Ron Paul Nation Celebration - from 10 p.m. to 1 p.m.
13 states had a meeting about it Tuesday morning. I didn't go and I haven't heard any reports yet, but I know LOTS of people didn't like what they are doing. Jeff Greenspan even turned the mic's off on us. I eventually stopped listening to what they were saying. They want us to pay $35 in dues every year. The only good thing was that they are paying $100,000 to get the voter lists from the whole country.
I personally believe that the whole "party" thing is wrong. You have to vote for your conscience. I don't like calling myself a republican, libertarian, or whatever. The libertarian party platform is the closest to my ideals though, but I don't like Bob Barr. I want to know why he voted for the Patriot Act. I just don't believe him. Although I did hear that there will be some kind of BIG press conference next week with Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr. Those 3 need to unite somehow.
I became a precinct chair and a delegate to the precinct, county and state conventions, but after seeing how the GOP treated us, I can't help to not want anything to do with them. I wish I was one of those people that had enough patience to talk to them about things like how they can be pro-war yet pro-life at the same time.
The only thing I got out of the whole deal was the Real Politics training, but making people pay $85 and not allowing video was just wrong. I personally could not afford the $85 fee and someone paid it for me. Why couldn't they record and/or broadcast something for everyone to see. It talked about how to fundraise, make effective flyers, how to lobby, etc. I really liked it. Why couldn't everyone who wanted to go, go? Instead they paid who knows how much wasted money for Sara Evans to play and hardly anyone stayed to watch. There was a mass exodus when Ron Paul stepped off the stage.

i have had several discussions with folks from many states and i think this is a topic worth debating on grassroots,i just didn't want to be the person who broke this news but i know many feel the way we do,so we are not alone.
we need to focus on what works in our states and not listen to washington or anyone who lives outside of our states...
Focus locally and that is all that needs to be done......
I know what works in Colorado and if the cfl doesn't want to listen to us,then my money doesn't have to listen to them.. plain and simple, we are the movement, not the cfl.....
