There were three GREAT moments IMO;

When Colbert asked what Ron Paul would have had to give up to get a speaking role at the convention, and Ron Paul answered "Everything I believe in" :D

When Ron Paul was talking about people who go to washington and get involved because they believe in something; "It's confusing - you know, it really blows their mind" :D

When Colbert asked about the delegates, and Ron Paul came back with the hilarious "They're still captured" comment. :D

There was also a somewhat weak moment when Ron Paul discussed the RFTR in relation to Gustav, just because people have been programmed to expect an immediate emotional speech about the horrors of the hurricane. I do however think that "Hurricane Paul" would make an excellent campaign slogan!

And we still have people IN HERE wanting to support mccain and obama.

Makes you think doesn't it.

Even though colbert is a comedian and always joking around, he is always so respectful of Ron! And frankly Ron was pretty funny right back this time heh =)

actually a great interview

Damn this culture of instant gratification. I wish they had enough time for him to really explain his talking points. Most people not already familiar with him - or worse, those who only know of him as being some sort of vague nutball - aren't going to understand the significance of what is going on here.
