Maybe this can get a sticky. I'll start off with what is normally a techie website, but it has a news+politics forum. The topic is

Reason's why you think Ron Paul will/won't be president

I've tried a couple times with these guys, and they claim to be financial experts. They resort to 'looney' and other fun words. It would be great if someone who fully grasps the problems with the central bank could respond.

Tango is essentially correct in the 11:52 PM post. The part that Tango doesn't realize though is that Ron Paul's discussion with Bernake and every other Fed chairman has been ongoing. It didn't begin with that video. Ron Paul is criticizing a fiat money supply which requires a central bank. Ron Paul's other criticism of the Fed is that it never denies credit to Congress which allows unlimited spending on programs that the Congress doesn't have constitutional authority to begin in the first place.
