What if the guy just ran out of paper or something? I'd have the humility of asking the next guy over for a roll instead of carrying on without cleaning up.

If you were just seeing if the stall next to you could spare a square, I don't think you would plead guilty to the charges against you.

What was he guilty of? If a man attempts to attract the affection of a female in bar it's okay, but if a man attempts to attract the affection of a male in a restroom stall (out of the general public eye), it is a crime? Go figure.

Police state, here we come.

That's got to be the freakiest case yet. Not to far from just picking people randomly on the street and throwing them into "work camps". "Hey, that one looks like an enemy combatant! Take'em down. Use the dogs."

OTOH - a US Senator should have enough sense to know that no jury would ever convict on that stupid evidence. Someone tapped their foot? Oh, sh*t! If he's not that savvy he's too stupid to be a Senator and would definitely not fight for citizen's freedoms.
