Then watch this:
"Ron Paul steals McCain's thunder"

Also (especially the end):
"Conservatives nominate the wrong guy"

It saddens me that some here do not seem to have any idea of the historical accomplishment(s) that have already taken place.

"I’ll tell you one thing," Ron Paul added. "When I’m back in D.C., I get a lot of recognition from members of Congress who want my endorsement and want my support, to help out, because they are in tight races and they know the grassroots Republicans are interested in what I’m saying."

For those of us who have been in this fight for many years, I think I can say we are overwhelmed and eternally grateful at what has been accomplished here. Like Ron Paul, I was skeptical. It looked to me as though America was going down without a fight. If you had told me a couple of years ago that there would be videos such as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1hDHCDh18Y, I certainly wouldn't have believed it. Thank you all, and a special thanks to Ron Paul.

And finally, I'd like to add this from another thread because it worries me that some are considering acting out in anger and working against our own best interests. An example of what I mean:

"I once saw a picture, and I wish I could find it now, that was a wide-angle shot of about 50 media persons surrounding a group of maybe three people who were burning flags while completely ignoring the protest of hundreds (?) of people marching nearby.

In other words, getting angry and burning a flag plays right into the media's hands. They would squeal with delight over the opportunity to catch Ron Paul supporters on film doing this.

Imagine them putting side by side pictures of Ron Paul supporters burning American flags and Iraqis doing the same.

We would be turning away the very people we are aiming to gain favor with.

Ron Paul creates instant converts with his PRO-American message.

An anti-American message (be honest here: that's how most people would view it) would be falling into the trap that leads people to have such a deep-hatred for the anti-war demonstrators.

Although I would never support a law against it, and it does not personally offend me, it would be counter-productive to the movement. How many people do you really expect to win over by burning a flag? Nowhere as many as you would lose."
