Detroit Mayor Stepping Down

This is a street thug, no big loss. He's been on the hot seat for about a year. He lied about having an affair, a stripper party in the mansion may have happened, but the key witness was murdered and the investigation stifled, he has taken a few swings at the cops trying to serve him with court papers....it's like a bad movie.

The thing is though, as part of a plea agreement, he is going to plead guilty to 2 felonies, step down from the position, and pay a $1,000,000 fine.

Is it me, or does that seem steep?

Sounds about right! You can't cut elitists any slack.

$1 million fine + a few years in prison would probably be more fitting.
