Will we know how many delegates support Ron Paul by an on-the-record vote or are we gonna see that acclamation stunt the DNC pulled in Denver?

roll-call votes don't make for the best TV, not enough action, and the major networks are only showing from 9-10pm so it's not likely to show there.

Something to ponder...

At the Rally last night, they announced that the delegates were to be transported to the convention, for a possible floor vote.

A little later, they announced that 500+ seats were available up front, due to the delegates leaving. (Hoping for tons of delegates!)

The 'vote' did not happen last night.

Was this a Republican ploy to see to it that the delegates miss the Rally?

When the delegates arrived at the convention, were they identified as the Ron Paul Delegates, to be shut out of the vote?

I totally agree that was what it was. Also they could have been trying to determine any 'shadow' delegates that we have.

Here's the answer:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080903/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_convention_rdp

"McCain will be nominated Wednesday night in a roaring roll call and will deliver his acceptance speech Thursday. Palin will address the convention Wednesday night."
