Last night, for the first time in years, I turned off the Daily show, because it was railing against the Republicans for having a convention during Gustav... They spent 15 minutes politicizing a Hurricane. I lost a ton of respect for that show.

I think the daily show was showing the hypocrisy of the republican's when they were trying to pretend like they gave a crap about hurricane. If you watch last friday's show at the dem convention you will see they were just as tough on the democrats.

I find the Daily Show extremely boring for the last 2 weeks (covering DNC and now RNC). Fortunately, the Colbert Report is as good as always.

go back and watch last friday's episode, it was one of the funniest episodes I've seen in a while. They basically just asked democratic delegates basic questions and comedy ensued.

About a month ago I actually got bored with Colbert for a bit...but then it got better.
