Dr. Paul’s Speech - Rally for the Republic
One of the things we love so much about Dr. Paul is that he never reads canned speeches - he always speaks from his head, and, his heart.

For the Rally for the Republic, Dr. Paul worked hard on an outline and wanted to share his notes. His exact words will differ, and some parts will improvised, but his sentiment is in this text.

Welcome to the Rally for the Republic and the Revolution.

It’s not much of an overstatement to say that everyone attending this Rally for the Republic knows that the American Republic hangs by a thread, and a thin one at that.

-see site for remainder of speech before improvs at the time-

The CSPAN link posted above, with comments regarding RealPlayer-

CSPAN's video version of the speech (quality looked really good for the 30 seconds I tried):

rtsp://video1.c-span.org/archive/c08/c08_090208_paul1.rm

NOTE: It attempts to require RealPlayer "registration" - note the pulldown option to "Remind Me Later". Then, make sure to *uncheck* all default options to not get on spam e-mail lists-

God damnit I hate real player. For some reason it's screwed... not even an option to update even when I try. :(

Try your Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs. Remove it and start over? (If necessary, reboot after doing so?)

You can always use Media Player Classic. That's what I'm using.
